Heath co-authored the article âNew DOJ Commentary Promises Leniency for Companies Who 'Do the Right Thingâ and Self-Report Violations,â published in the Connecticut Law Tribune on August 15, 2018. The article covers the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), itâs broad reach, investigating suspected FCPA violations, and whether to self-report misconduct to the Department of Justice (DOJ.) Mr. Brody and Mr. Heath also examine the DOJ's new commentary âintended to provide the private sector with further clarity on how the DOJ approaches FCPA cases.â
