Racine County, Wisconsin
With 188 miles of groomed trails, Racine County is a local destination for many riders looking for great trails without a long drive. Located just 20 miles south of Milwaukee and 70 miles north of Chicago, our trail system has many public parking areas and nearly one hundred local businesses accessible along the trail.
Nine snowmobile clubs combine their grooming efforts to keep smooth trails with the nearly 50 inches of snow received annually over the county.
The trail system consists of flat and fast farm fields, woods, railroad grade trails. Local maps are available for purchase at many sponsors or you can download a pdf map using the link to the left.
PHOTO OF THE DAY !!!
So the trails were closed but we were directed by a club member to bring our machines out to the river. Didnt realize that you could go fifty miles without leaving the ice. Super fun just stay out of the water holes near Mukwonago.
Wow what a blast, how many times do you have 60 degrees in Jan and still ride snowmobiles. Fun day, thanks guys!
